When you say “North End” here in the South Bay you might find most people referring to the North End bar in North Hermosa Beach. It’s known for it’s center island bar, pool tables, and that it is the home base bar to most of all the Los Angeles Kings Players.
The North End I’m referring to is one that many people seem to either overlook or forget exists- since it’s in the upper side of Manhattan Beach away from all of the riff raff. The North End cafe undoubtedly serves some of the best and most satisfying breakfast you can get in Manhattan Beach. With it’s homey diner and coffee shop vibe, you can find seating both inside and outside a short few blocks from the sand. No longer on the menu but still offered is the simple Honey Latte (highly recommend). On the food side of things, I recommend the breakfast tacos which are an overall crowd pleaser and simply out of this world yummy. These breakfast tacos are served with a pink sauce that I like to refer to as- “crack sauce”. It’s most likely a chipotle mayo but I admittedly have never asked due to that it’s just too good and I don’t need to know how many calories it has.
In addition to the tacos, I’d go with the Zachary breakfast sandwich featuring a hard fried egg, melted brie cheese, BACON, and a raspberry jam. It’s AH-MAZING.
