 Dear heavenly steakhouse gods, The Arthur J has stolen the hearts of almost every South Bay Resident. Locals- am I right? From the swanky aesthetics, cocktails and food (which we’ll get to in a moment) and the PHENOMENAL first class service- The Arthur J is one of the most exceptional dining experiences Manhattan Beach has to offer, and actually - really- in all of the South Bay. This is the place to take your special lady for an epic date night, or host the perfect night to impress your inlaws, ORRR if you’re just a sucker for high quality food and good drinks- pop over any time. The bar is a lively vibe and on the bar menu is actually one of LA’s highest rated burgers. 

As for the menu:

Firstly, for cocktails- the Sexy Thyme is my go to. It’s vodka, cucumber, thyme, lemon, and honey. Or they do make a BOMB dirty martini. 

Secondly, for appetizers, indulge in the Bone marrow toast. Salty, buttery, melt in your mouth perfection. And I know this is going to sound SO BASIC- but the Caesar salad. I don’t know why or how but I actually crave the Caesar from The Arthur J. 

Now the steaks are obviously the way to go, that’s probably why you’re there. And if you’re a total chick like me and can’t finish an entire ribeye, the petite filet minion is the perfect amount of food. The homemade steak sauces are all mouth watering, but my picks are the truffle butter and chimichurri sauce. But the Steak is that good that you don’t even need sauce. There are all sorts of side dishes offered seasonally, but fuck it, if you’re at a steak house then its your cheat night- so order the beef fat fries.
