Looking for your next cocktail and sunset post? Old Tony’s on the pier is one of the remaining OG establishments that still exists, despite all the new construction and development that goes on in the South Bay. Located in the midst of the Redondo Beach Pier Old Tony’s Restaurant has a lower level restaurant as well as an upper level bar resembling a round lighthouse structure, providing panoramic views of the pacific. If you’re looking for a nice seafood dinner, snag yourself a table in the main restaurant level for Tony’s Salmon Chowder and fresh crab legs. Upstairs provides a whole different experience that can be described in one word- FIRECHIEFS. Old Tony’s is undoubtedly notorious for its “eclectic” in house Mai Tai cocktail named the ‘Firechief’. Served in an Old Tony’s special glass wear, and you get to keep a glass for each Firechief you order. These Tony’s cups are a typical household item as you can spot them in any South Bay local’s home as well as making a great souvenir. I’m guilty of having about 20 of them. The upper level also provides live acoustic music from local musicians EVERY NIGHT Monday-Sunday.
