Galleries in the South bay are few and rare, but one in particular (in my opinion) is more unique over others. The Bo Bridges Gallery is located on Manhattan Avenue, and two buildings over from the Manhattan Beach Creamery.
This gallery features all work done by Bo Bridges, a local South Bay photographer and resident. Bo is world renowned advertising and fine art photographer, and known in our beachside community mainly for his surf and shark photographs as well as a volleyball mural done on the side of the Hermosa Beach parking structure next to The Beach House hotel. As you enter his gallery you’ll be wowed by some incredible images from all over the world as well as the stories told behind them on description cards aside each photograph. A stroll through the gallery is a lovely way to escape the noise and outdoors and be visually stimulated by some incredible work. Be sure to take note of his number one image, ‘Gone Fishing’, which is almost always featured on one of his walls, telling the story of a bohemian fisherman shark attack.
