You’ll notice that in Hermosa and Manhattan, the Piers and its neighboring streets are the centers for restaurants, shops, and most popular attractions. In Redondo, you have a spread out area from King Harbor to the Redondo Pier where you’ll find many seaside establishments. However in addition to the pier and unique from the other beach cities, Redondo has a second area of appeal. The charming Redondo Riviera, located on South Catalina just south of Avenue I, is a long stretch of road streamed with lights and lined with shops and restaurants. The Riviera gives off a homey, small town vibe perfect for a midday or evening stroll and bite to eat. You’ll see Riviera House right on the corner of Avenida Del Norte and find many wonderful restaurants in every direction. I recommend getting a table at whichever your mood and heart leads you to, and then walk off your meal by wandering through the neighboring shops and boutiques. The Riviera is a guaranteed lovely time in a fun and pleasant atmosphere.
